The poodle does NOT look like a poodle at all! In fact, it hardly looks like a dog. There is no ear,very little nose, but not prominent like a poodle's....and basically has very little shape or resemblance of a poodle. Also there are two cut-outs in the design...not sure what they are supposed to be. I had to go to a local craft store and purchase goods and attempt to make this poor thing resemble a poodle as my daughter needed it for the costume for a school play. The applique is stitched on and cannot be removed to apply a new applique. Look at the picture of the skirt REALLY close before purchasing the skirt. I thought that I did, but apparently I did not look close enough.
Very cheap
My daughter wears a 6x and this was huge!! She was still able to wear it with a belt but I was afraid it would fall off her, luckily it didn't. For the price, it did the job, but I probably could have made one better myself and I don't even know how to sew! Like all the other reviews said, the poodle didn't look like a poodle, but from far away, you can't really tell, ha ha!
Just a skirt
Bought this for my daughter for the Girl Scout Father Daughter dance where the theme is sock hop. I guess I didn't read it well...it's only the skirt. It's ok for the price. Might have made one better but she is very happy with it and that is all that matters.
