My daughter loved this costume!!!
We purchased this costume at a Halloween store. On the bag it does state that it is only the shirt/dress. This was the only Selena Gomez costume we found and my daughter loved it! We purchased a pair of tights and used a pair of brown boots and a wand. My daughter got many compliments and the shirt dress could easily be used during the year.

The only thing I did was cut the neck piece that makes the scarf looks like it was around the neck. We had a hard time getting our daughter's head through it so I cut it and works just fine since it closes with velcro.

The costume was a little pricey, but was well worth it!

Disappointed
The description of this product did not say what came with the costume, so I was disappointed to find only the dress with attached scarf in the package for $40! The dress is not the best quality, but it will do fine as a costume. I just think the price is a bit high for what you get.

nice costume
This costume was a nicer quality than the ones sold in local stores. We did get a ninja head cover and swords to go with it and it looked pretty good.

Good Costume
PROS:
1) The price, the price, the price - especially if you (like my kids) only use the costume just once.
2) It is a simple costume; no help required for the kids in getting ready. A great alternative to an elaborate costume which demands a lot of time to put together.
3) Fits well and looks cool.

CONS:
Quality is not great. The material is thin.

Delightful Costume
I purchased this in the large for my granddaughter for Halloween. She is a preteen, tall, slender and takes karate as a sport. We were concerned about the length, but were delighted to see that it fit well with a small amount of growing room. The costume has great detail and a feminine look for the girls.

It's a one night costume!!
This is a very cute looking costume. I made my daughter wear tights under it. It broke the first and only night she wore it!! I sewed it back together under the arm. It's a bit overpriced for a product that didn't even make it through the night.

Trashy looking and cheaply made, dont waste your $
My daughter begged me to buy this cosutme for her out of her allowance money. Both she and I were disappointed when it arrived. Her comment "this looks NOTHING like the picture" My comment - you are not leaving the house in this. I had to buy a shirt to go under the flimsy top, another skirt to replace the seethrough net skirt that ripped when she tried it on, leggings to go with it (it didnt come with any). Also the wings are about 1/2 the size of those indicated in the picture.

Bad Boa!
I did not give the Pink Feather Boa to the little girl I ordered it for because when I opened the box and noticed feathers everywhere, I immediately decided against my idea! It was an absolute job to clean up the feathers that found their way onto the floor. Instead I went to WalMart and bought a polyster boa in pink and packaged it with the role play princess dress I had bought. Do not buy this feather boa!

fell a part!
All the feather fell a part. My daughter had to put it up from my Grandaghter because it was just falling a part. Feather everywhere!

Not what I thought
As soon as I opened it, feathers fell to the floor. There are sharp points sticking out. I did not care for the think dark colored string that hung from each end. I will not be able to use this for the gift basket I am making. It's not worth sending back, I will trim it down and make cat toys from it.

Colonial Dress is fairly nice for the price, but is is BROWN, not even a hint of cranberry which is how it looks on the computer
I purchased this dress for my daughter's Colonial Day at school. I would say it runs fairly true to size, maybe a little on the large size through the shoulders. When viewing it online, the dress looks like a deep cranberry (at least on my computer). My daughter liked the color is which is why we ordered it. In person, it is definitely dark brown, no hint of cranberry at all. Had we realized that, we probably would not have ordered it; however, we don't have time to order a different one now. So, if you are o.k. with brown, it's fine--but just wanted to give the heads up to any other potential buyers in case you think it looks like a deep marroon or cranberry...it is not.

The product looks and feels awesome, the only thing you have to do is add a few inches (like 3) to the shoulder measurements and arm length, they make it tightly so it came out a bit tight there.

Cheaply made!
I just got this in the mail yesterday and it looks nothing like the picture nor the discription. It is made very small for like a small baby when it says that it can fit a child 2-8. It say's that it is made out of tulle but it feels so ruff like a fish netting material and the black ribbon on the bottom is falling off and it was sent that way. The picture makes it look very full and fluffy but is not, so do your self the favor and save your money on this item.

Great costume!
We bought this costume for my 6 year old daughter. She loves it! It's good quality and washable. One thing I didn't realize when I bought it is that it is a mid-driff top, so part of her belly is exposed. Not a big deal but I wouldn't have known from the picture.

the fit is weird
Got this for my Daughter for christmas, it's pretty thin and the fit is really strange. I got her a Medium, (she's 7) and it has elastic in the back of the skirt and pulls the front and makes it look odd. Also the sleeves are only attached by velcro and don't stay on well. I'm willing to add snaps or stitch them on completely though. I might even loosen the elastic in the back to make it fit nicer. it just looks odd on.

Cutest costume!! Was very appropriate for my granddaughter's school play. However, the price for the costume construction was way too much. I would have sewn one myself if I had had more notice, but this one is really, really cute.

Pretty dress but might not hold up
My daughter loves this dress but for the price paid you would think the quality would be a bit better. It has strings that are coming off it already and I am afraid to clean it at all. My little princess wants to live in this dress however I don't think it will last much longer if it continues to fray. Not quite sure it is worth the money spent on it should have spent $5 and got the disney store deluxe version. Daughter complains of it being itchy:( Not satisfied with quality for the price.

Cheaply made
I honestly would rather pay the extra $10 or so for the nicer Rapunzel costume. This one is so cheaply made that it's already pulling apart under the arms. It's definitely not $25 worth of quality. I'm really thinking about exchanging it for a different one, its just ridiculous.

Not worth the Cost!
I paid a bit more for this than the website, because I got it at a Halloween store by my house. However, even paying $7.00 less it would still have been a rip off. The purple collar thing is a separate piece that does not stay up on its own. I am going to have to sew it to the costume and shorten the black neck ribbon, because it was made for someone with a freakishly large neck. (it could fit around my daughter's waist) The broach shown in the picture does not come with the costume. The costume runs short. My daughter is a 7/8 and the medium, which is supposed to fit 8-10 was short. The fit is large though, and the dress falls forward exposing her chest. So getting a larger size was not practical, unless I wanted to also take it in on the sides. my daughter has a medium build, and has never had a problem with items her size being too big around the waist) I would take this very cheaply made over priced costume back to the store immediately, if my daughter wasn't so in love...

Not as it appears
I was very disappointed when this costume arrived. As it is pictured, the dress looks like it should hit the tops of the feet, but it barely came past my daughter's knees, and she is a very petite 10 year old. I ordered the size 8/10. The top of the dress was also HUGE around the chest and shoulders area, not cute and fitted as pictured. She was not happy that she had to wear a shirt underneath for modesty's sake. The collar was also too big and very awkward - wouldn't stay in place and the velcro to hold it on was badly placed. She chose to go without it. Overall, we were both disappointed with this costume. Would not recommend it.

It's ok
I bought this for my 8 year old daughter to wear in a dance recital. I wasn't sure if I should get her a small or a medium. I was concerned that the costume looked too much like lingerie so I got a medium so it would be longer. The costume was huge! I needed to take it in significantly, but I was glad I didn't get a small, because to me it did look like lingerie. I don't consider myself conservative, but I think it is a bit sexy looking. The tights are black pantyhose so I had her wear black leggins instead. One of the gloves got a hole in it, but we didn't mind, because it was a monster dance.

Nice costume
I bought this directly from Costume Craze for my 3 year old daughter's Halloween costume. She wears 4T tops so I got a child small (4-6). It's a little bit big (gaps in the back due to the weight of the wings, skirt just brushes her knees) but we're happy with it. I thought for sure it'd rip apart when she went to put it on rather violently, but it was fine. The fabric is soft and unwrinkling, the sleeves have elastic, and there is a soft jersey underskirt under the tulle. The leaves on the skirt don't go around to the back, it's just tulle there. The details are nice (gold glitter, brown/gold braid trim, bronze & brown ribbon flowers with gold embroidery) and the wings are constructed well, not too flexible or too prone to ripping. They attach pretty securely to the back, with 2 strips of Velcro, and are connected to each other with color-matched felt. There were a few loose threads at fabric edges and a small wrinkling of the nylon at one wing tip, but overall this was higher...

Really Cute Fairy Costume!
My daughter, who was turning 3, decided that she liked Tinkerbell all of a sudden. My mother wanted to get her a Tinkerbell costume to wear at her birthday party, but everything we could find that was a licensed costume was either flimsy and cheap looking, or way too sexy for a little girl.
My mom found this one and it's perfect! My 6 year old nephew came in the door and said Hey, you look just like Tinkerbell! My daughter doesn't like to wear it with the wings, but they're easy to get off and on so it's no big deal. She's worn it a few times and it's been washed to get the spills out of it. It went through our front loader's delicate cycle with no problem, and I line dried it.
The little skirt that's under the tulle is a nice length, and the neckline is high enough to be appropriate for a 3 year old.
We got a size 2/3 and it fits fine. My daughter is very slim and petite though, so I think the average 3 year old would need the next size up.

UPDATE -...

So fun! but on the small size
Love this dressup outfit and so does my daughter! She loves to wear this while playing dress up with her older sister. Just fyi - it runs a little small. I ordered a size 2/3 for my 19 month old hoping she could wear it for awhile, but the torso is cut very skinny and barely fits her now. She was in the 50% for height and 10% for weight a month ago.

Bought the small (4/6) for a size 4, 5-year old girl. Very cute and fits perfectly. Would go up a size for a child who wears a size 5 pant, as these would be too short in the legs. No complaints.

This lovely outfit was perfect for Halloween for my little Leopard (well, she called herself a cheetah...). My only warning is that it's not really what i would call a 4/6. She's a 5, and it just fit with a tight fitting shirt and leggings underneath for warmth. If your child is a 6 I would order the medium.

Wrong & Damaged Child's Daphne Costume
DO NOT USE BRANDS ON SALE! STOP NOW & FIND ANOTHER SITE TO ORDER FROM! We ordered the costume for our daughter for Halloween and they shipped us the costume in the wrong color (not what they advertised!) and with damaged boots. The boots were melted together. We have been fighting with them since then to get a refund. We were not allowed to talk to management when we called in, the service rep. refused to let us talk to anyone above him. The customer service is horrible! Each time we talked to someone at the company the rules on returns changed. My 7 year old daughter wants to be an angel for Halloween this year and this one seemed to fit the bill. When it arrived she was so happy with it. It did have a little defect where some of the sheer material wasn't attached to the yoke in front and I contacted Costume Craze right away and they issued a return label and processed an exchange the same day. Great customer service! I think the halo is a bit cheesy, but she loves it and it serves it purpose - and really how else would you get a halo to "hang" above their heads with out some wire?! The sleeve elastic is a bit tight, and I might just snip it and let it hang freely. My 7 year old is average proportions and the Medium fits her perfectly in length and elsewhere (sleeve are the only thing that bugs her a bit). Great little dress
I got this for my 2yo daughter for Christmas, and she loves it. I got it when the price dropped really low, so at that time it was a great value. It is more like recital quality dance wear than place clothes. She wears a 3T and it is almost to her ankles. The tag says 3-4. It is a leotard with an attached skirt. The sequins are on the front and straps and the rest is just pink. It says to hand wash, hang dry and is only the dress, none of the other things pictured. HTH's with the lack of details from the description.

A Fairy Princess Dream Come True!
My favorite moment of 09 Christmas was watching my cousin's two and a half year old girl literally scream with delight when she opened this present. Unbelievable! This costume is so pretty and of the highest quality possible. The attention to detail is stunning. It's stretchy to grow in and seems comfortable as my cousin's little girl will not take it off. CHEAP CATWOMAN COSTUME WILL TEAR APART AT ALL SEAMS
I purchased this item initially on eBay, but returned it due to it ripping at all of the seams. I thought that they had sold me a second or irregular costume.
I purchased the item again from a reputable costume store. The very same thing happened. The costume materials are so cheap that the thread rips the material with any type of movement. Even just putting the costume on can create tears. The materials is just falling apart at all of the seams. Also, the costume runs very small. My daughter normally wears a size 6, but the M(8-10) just fits her.
Rubies has always made great costumes, but I must say that this one is the pits! It can only be worn one or two times ):
This was very disheartening to my 6YO Catwoman Fan! It made me sad as well to see her so disappointed. I wish that I would have never shown her the costume.

Great for Halloween
This was a great choice for Halloween. I bought a 10-12 based on other reviewer's comments about the sizing running small, and I really should have just bought a 7-8, which is what my daughter actually wears. We had to pin the costume in the back to get the sleek "cat woman" look, which was very important to her. The mask is probably the best component of the whole costume - it allows for very fun catwoman eye shadow for 9 year olds who don't normally get to wear make-up!

I purchased this item initially on eBay, but returned it due to it ripping at all of the seams. I thought that they had sold me a second or irregular costume.
I purchased the item again from a reputable costume store. The very same thing happened. The costume materials are so cheap that the thread rips the material with any type of movement. Even just putting the costume on can create tears. The materials is just falling apart at all of the seams. Also, the costume runs very small. My daughter normally wears a size 6, but the M(8-10) just fits her.
Rubies has always made great costumes, but I must say that this one is the pits! It can only be worn one or two times ):
This was very disheartening to my 6YO Catwoman Fan! It made me sad as well to see her so disappointed. I wish that I would have never shown her the costume.

My four year old loves it!
My daughter loves this costume.....It fits her well and she is very happy with it. The mask sits on the top of the head, so it is a bit safer for Trick or Treating

Pinky pie loves parties.
My granddaughter put it on and wore it for 3 days when we had to peel it off of her to wash it. It is well made, the material is good quality. The head piece is not a mask and my 4 year old kept trying to wear it as one.

Adorable Costume!
Great costume for kids. This costume can be worn by a girl or boy. Comfortable, easy to wear, good quality, highly recommend.

Popcorn costume
My 8 year old son liked this costume. I think it was easy to get on and off and it was a big hit at the school parade. My only complaint is the head piece. He didn't wear it because it wouldn't stay on and it really wasn't appropriate for a boy. Overall would recommend the costume.

Great costume choice!
I'm so fed up with finding a decent halloween costume for my son who's 7 and has autism. He's not into violent characters and he isn't interested in the older cartoon genres yet so finding him a costume is next to impossible. I love this costume because he knows exactly what it is and its not made out of that super thin cheap material that most costumes for boys come in now. I'm using a yellow hoodie and sewing the headpiece on since he doesn't have any ponytails to attach it to but someone else could easily use a dollar store headband to put it on a child with short or no hair. Also this should fit him for a few years for dress up and if he wants for halloween again.

Very Nice Costume
Our 9 y/o wanted to be a genie this year for Halloween. So I searched many stores in our area and online. This costume was the best value we could find. Also, the stores didn't even carry a costume like this in our area. The seller shipped very fast, we had the costume several days before the earliest estimated date.

Included is the top, pants, and headpiece. The deep Purple is very pretty. The quality of the costume it's self isn't bad. You always have to be careful with any kind of mesh like material. For our daughter the sizing is like most Halloween costumes we've bought in the past. She wears size 7/8 clothes normally. We followed the size chart though and bought a Large. The top isn't too bad since the sleeves have elastic. The pants are very long though. I fixed this by putting a rubber band a little above her ankle and just pulled the pants up over it so they weren't as long and you cannot see the rubber band at all. I know this will go into the dress up chest after...

Pretty dress but might not hold up
My daughter loves this dress but for the price paid you would think the quality would be a bit better. It has strings that are coming off it already and I am afraid to clean it at all. My little princess wants to live in this dress however I don't think it will last much longer if it continues to fray. Not quite sure it is worth the money spent on it should have spent $5 and got the disney store deluxe version. Daughter complains of it being itchy:( Not satisfied with quality for the price.

Cheaply made
I honestly would rather pay the extra $10 or so for the nicer Rapunzel costume. This one is so cheaply made that it's already pulling apart under the arms. It's definitely not $25 worth of quality. I'm really thinking about exchanging it for a different one, its just ridiculous.

Very Cute Candy Corn Costume
My 7-year-old daughter loves this costume and she continues to play dress up in it. It came with most accessories and has help up well so far.

Damaged & refused to pay shipping!
This runs small and the bow was sewed on the wrong size.
I returned it and had to pay for return shipping. I argued that is was a defected product but that did not matter. I was also told it says it in their policy that customer would have to pay for return shipping no matter what. I could not find it anywhere. Will never buy from a 3rd party on Amazon again. Amazon is so good about returns and refunds I will stick with them.

Cheap and Not sized correctly
I should have took the other reviews to heart. This costume is cheap, cheap, cheap and WAY smaller than the stated size. Although not expensive, it was a waste of money!

Great and speedy for purpose.
This product was just perfect for the purpose. My son had to give a report on Chief Cornstalk. It fit a little big, but I'd rather it be big than small. Very speedy delivery.

Cute, but misleading and cheap.
We ordered this for a part my 5 yr old had in a class play. It does NOT come with the headpiece or the tomahawk. It is only the shirt, belt and pants. The small fit him well. It is definitley cheaply made. It's already coming apart in a couple of places after one handwash. You get what you pay for though. It served the purpose for the play and it was cute. Dissapointed it did not come with the accessories though.

Cute outside!
This was a present for our grandson's 1st birthday to accompany the "car" we got from Amazon. It arrived promptly and was great to unwrap at his birthday. Pictures to follow. Our only suggestion is that one should include a knit type hat to go under it for a pre-toddler. Nathan didn't like the feel of the open plastic parts on his tender head.
We are aware that this is just a costume part and not intended, nor represented, as a true helmet, and priced accordingly. When used as suggested, it is delightful and certainly accomplished our purpose for a photo shoot of our budding little NASCAR driver on his first birthday!

Halloween Savior
We looked all over town for an alice costume and were unable to find one in my daughters size. Amazon not only had one but had a unique one. We got free shipping and the costume arrived on time. Next year i'm probably going to skip the stores and go straight to online shopping.

Poor quality
My niece started crying when she put it on because it is so itchy. The glitter get's on everything and the skirt is made out of the same material as cheap reusable bags. Glad I didn't pay full price for this.

2011 Halloween Costume
My 10 year old looked through 50 or so of the witch costumes on Amazon and chose this one for this year's Halloween. Compared to many others, I thought this one might seem a little 'plain' to her after the fact. It arrived two days ago, and I was pleasantly surprised to find I thought the costume was positively beautiful! The photos on Amazon do this costume no justice whatsoever. While the material may be considered a little thin for cold weather climates, that's nothing an undershirt won't fix (and we use these every year anyway), and the overall construction of the costume appears sturdy enough to last many, many more uses if that was ever something we wanted to do ... more reminiscent of actual clothing than a costume by far. My daughter absolutely adores this costume, and I love it ever so much more than I thought I would. I would definitely buy this product again.

80's dance for my 12 year old
I purchased this for my 12 year old who was going to an 80's dance at school. I purchased a ruffled skirt to go over it. I am happy to say she won best costume of the night. She was very happy and we felt it was well worth it!

The picture is inaccurate
Looking at the girl in the picture - I assumed it was for bigger kids - bought a Medium (going by size chart) thinking it would fit my teen daughter, instead it fits my 5 year old. Not a happy camper.

Butterfly costume
The costume I received appears to be good quality and it comes with all accessories (except tights/leggings). My daughter is very excited about it and looks adorable in it. She normally doesn't like dress up or costume play but she loves this one. The only drawback is my daughter is just now going in 4T clothes and this is very snug on her. I would recommend it be sized 2/3T.

butterfly costume
I ordered this costume for my 4 year old and went by the size chart. When it came in the mail it was so ridiculously small that it tore as she was putting it on, and she was even smaller than the size chart so I figured it was awesome since she would have clothes on under it. She never got to wear it.

Is this what i ordered?
The look of the costume is nothing like the picture. Even the headband is completly different. The tutu was very cheap and almost to the point that i thought it would break when i put it on my daughter. Very cheap. Im very dissapointed since this is my first experience with getting soemthing bad from Amazon. The quality is just not there and not what i thought i was buying.

fabulous quality outfit
My son wore this for his Disney Parade fancy dress party, he looked adorable, a proper Prince Charming! The outfit was very well made and I would not hesitate to recomend this product.

This prince charming costume is ADORABLE! I'm the mother of boy/girl twins and there is an endless supply of princess costumes for my daughter, not the case for my son. This costume is the perfect solution! As far as fit, I'm not sure where they get their proportions...the waist is small & the length is long! It's worth a little tweaking though! This material is polyester, but it is a costume. The details are great & definitely make it look more "real". I definitely recommend this for anyone with a little prince out there! I wish Disney would embrace their princess' true loves & make more prince costumes!

This costume was awesome! We got so many compliments when my son wore this at Disney World at the BBB & to dinner with Cinderella. His sister went as Cinderella and he was the perfect Prince Charming. Adorable!!! My son is almost 4. He is pretty small & it fit him good. The only problem we had was we had to have it hemmed by like 7 inches before we left. But other than that it was great! I'm definitely glad we bought this!

Kind of a bummer
I paid a little extra for the "deluxe" Olivia costume since the basic one looked a little thin and flimsy. I'm pretty disappointed. The shirt is filthy, looks like it got dragged through the floor of a warehouse somewhere, and the tights are shredded like someone let their cat play with them. Also the description of the product says that shoes are included, but they aren't. I guess it's just as well, they'd probably be dirty or ruined as well. I'll definitely think twice before buying another Rubie's product.

The costume is cute and fabric is good quality. But the tights are really big, the shirt is the size I expected and the jumper is really tight on my 2 yr old. I don't think she'll be able to wear it for dress-up after Halloween.
