I'm Red Riding Hood for halloween, and I had the hardest time finding a cape that was actually RED. Not maroon or blood red, but PURE RED. This hooded cape is perfect! And I'm so happy its not velvety like the others I saw at the store. And the hood is xtra large, so it looks great in pictures when you're wearing it.
Disappointing
I was very disappointed with this cape. The color is great (good color for a child wanting to be red riding hood)and it's soft enough to wear comfortably for a few evenings, but the piece itself is essentially disposable. It's made of very cheap fabric (like the kind you get in children's costumes at Walmart) and the cut makes it unwearable to anyone with broad shoulders. It is unlined, so I really shouldn't have expected better quality, and it would be perfect for a child or thin woman, but overall it was a bad purchase for me.
A little Disappointing
Just to let you guys I know cause I noticed the others did not put what this is made of. It is made of complete 100% polyester. before you buy this item I suggest you go to a department store and feel what polyester looks like. It feels very flimsy by itself. and its really red. im a small woman with a large upper area. So this does not look right on me. But it would look right on a totally petite woman. So order this item at your own risk. It is the definition of the word okay. The seller is honest and fair and there good to order from just this cape isn't worth buying. Like I said go to a fabric store and check out what polyester feels like, and just order at your own sastisfaction. Also this cape is bright red. Its not tot color of the picture.
