I think this is a great product that does what it is supposed to do. It arrived very quickly. All the parts are a great quality. The recipients really LUV it!!! The size does run a bit large but thats Okay. My only complaint is in the lab coat. It is a very thin polyester cloth. It contains no cotton as the description said it would when I ordered it. So I am disappointed in that aspect. (The box it came in was large. They could have saved cardboard by using a small box.)Love it!
I was worried that this would be too big for my five year old daughter. She is very skinny and wears a size 6 slim jeans. This fit her perfectly, the pants have an elastic band around them which makes them flexible for the size it specifies. The arms on the robe are a little long but it looks even more realistic when I rolled them up a little. Everything was included as stated in product description.The face cover, shoe covers (she wears size 11 kids and there is more room left for larger size shoes) and the cap are made durable and both stay in place perfectly. I finally went ahead and purchased this costume over some of the other Glinda costumes I'd found because this one looked so nice in the photo. I was very disappointed when the costume arrived to find out that what they shipped wasn't even the same thing as what was shown in the picture. The crown we received is about half as tall, flimsy and doesn't have any of the pretty silver decorations as shown in the picture. The dress was similar, but again, it wasn't as nice as the one pictured. I feel that this was very false advertising and am not at all happy with what we received. I paid $49.95 for a this costume because it looked really pretty in the picture, but I was sent something of much lower quality and not near as cute. If you are going to call it "Super Deluxe" then you really should send a costume that matches what you are advertising!

Bought this Halloween outfit for my daughter,was a little big,but was well worth it,she looked amazing,all her little freinds in kindergarden loved it,along with the teachers.When it comes to sizing of the costumes,it's pretty hard,no five year old is the same size,some are taller or shorter,bigger bone or just smaller.Take your time and read the sizing chart,that's my thought's.Glinda dress and crown a good fit for my pagent grandaughter.

Nice costume for my 5 year old who likes princesses and fairies. We were surprised about the detail of the costume. It has a crown or a headgear that is unique as compared to regular princess crowns. The color combination and the textures of the fabric are great.
Easily, this is one of her better costumes, and she has many. She really looks pretty wearing it. And most importantly - she likes it.

The wings will not stay on the back, dress has 2 strips of velcro to hold them on but they are top heavy and flop down. I am attaching elastic straps on them to put around her shoulders. Overall this is a pretty dress that my daughter will LOVE. The fabric is synthetic (to be expected) and thus somewhat itchy inside. But it seems pretty well made and like it will hold up.
I was surprised to discover that the sleeves are detachable. Since I was trying to find a long-sleeved dress for wintertime dress up play, I wasn't thrilled about that. The sleeves attach with 3 little velcro squares on each shoulder. The velcro is white so it totally stands out on the dark blue fabric. I choose to remove the velcro and sew the sleeves on at the shoulder. This was relatively easy to do and now it looks very nice as a finished dress. I suspect the velcro would not have held the sleeves in place sufficiently and my daughter would have worn it without the sleeves most of the time and would have been irritated by the itchiness of the velcro.

We bought a small for our 3 year old daughter and I had to hem up the costume by 4 inches at the bottom. She is tall for her age and wearing a 4T to 5T, so I thought the small would fit her. It does, but is incredibly long. The sleeves at the shoulder are very tight as well.
The hat has a tendency to not point up as it is made out of the fine mesh/lace that the sleeves are made out of. The main part of the dress is a velvet-like material with an orange polyester/satin inlay with the lace/mesh over the top of the inlay. The sleeves are the same polyester/satin with the lace/mesh over the top of that and hangs down a long way. To keep the hat on, I HIGHLY suggest getting some matching ribbon and sewing it to the edges to tie under your child's chin. That was the only way we could keep it on my daughter's head.
Overall, it is a very nice costume, but the sizes are on the larger end. It looks like the Small fits more a 5T to 6T child, so be aware of that...Nice little witch's costume!

It was never worn, but I was not allowed to return it. I was told costumes are not returnable, but I could exchange it. I asked why would I exchange it? It is such a shoddy piece of merchandise. The seller said it is a costume, not a dress. I paid $40 for it and expected some value for that amount of money. Beware of anything this vendor is trying to sell. I found out that every vendor has a different return policy. Investigate the return policy carefully. Amazon may sell the product, but does not insure that returns can be made. Like stated before, the front and back are quite distinguishable.
On me, it reaches slightly above my knees.
The tie straps sort of bug me, but I'll manage.
However, if you're wearing a bra underneath it, the straps will most likely show unless you get clear ones.
The materials list states it's made of fleece, but it's surprisingly light. If you've ever had to shop for or wear a Holy Communion dress, then you know what the fabric feels like, right? The two fabrics are about the same.
Overall, the dress is very beautiful, and not very "see-through", surprisingly enough. It's two-tiered, so the color of your underpants and packer or garterbelt or whatever else you may be wearing will not show through.

It was packaged nicely when it arrived, but it needs to be spot cleaned before wearing it as there were noticeable stains from the sewing machine as well as markups on the ruffle hemline.The dress is light and fluffy and it can be worn as a casual dress too under a cardigan, but it's not very breathable despite its summery appearance. I purchased this from Amazon for my daughter who is six, and the small (4-6) is HUGE on her and would easily fit an eight year old - she is also quite tall for her age, so keep that in mind. She can wear it, but it will drag (a lot) on the floor/ground while she is wearing it, especially the dress portion.
The "wig" is complete crap and completely unwearable. The actual net is oddly shaped and doesn't fit properly on her head and when it is on the hair sits oddly, and looks completely unnatural, not at all like the photo. Not to mention that if you don't leave the hood up ALL THE TIME, the "wig" makes your child look like a creepy old man wearing a hairnet.
The gloves make her fingers look like shrivvled albino sausages, but I can live with that. She is supposed to be dead, after all.
The costume itself is a nice smooth material that will be comfortable for hours of wear, as long as she isn't tripping on it.
All in all, I would not buy...Best costume!

I'll wear it with leggings this year, as more of a shirt than a dress, but it is hugely misleading and pretty much just wrong in its description. Costume is fragile, My daughter wore it for 2 hours in the house and managed to rip it on the tail side seam and The pink seaweed boa that attached to her wrist (she was only watching TV and moving around on the couch as kids do, did not have on shoes). My daughter is 5 and wears a 6x i ordered a med. 8-10 and fits perfectly around her but is very long. The costume is much prettier in person than in the picture. and she adores it, But because i had to sew the costume back together i have not allowed her to wear it until Halloween. I ordered this thinking it would look close to the image in the pic, but the item was all kinds of distorted and bent up, the lense was a cheap plastic like a 20.00 helmet from walmart i was very disapointed, the paint job was like a kindergardner had done it. heart broken for what i paid.What a piece of junk!
Okay, this helmet looks really cool in the photo, but, don't be fooled by that...First of all, it's totally unwearable...I couldn't get the thing onto my head, and I'm not a big guy at all...My 7 year old couldn't get it onto his head either...Because there is this really sharp plastic ring all around the neck area, at the back of the helmet, which cuts into your neck when you try to put it on...It's a helmet...it's not supposed to be form fitting around your neck...Especially since it's made of razor sharp plastic..I scratched the hell out of myself when I tried to take it off..Also, when you get this thing, it looks like it was sat on by an elephant...It is really squashed looking, even when sitting on a shelf...It looks kind of like the helmet in the photo, but after going through a trash compactor...There is absolutely NO padding or head ring inside of it, so it just flops around on your head..I guess the chin strap would take care of that, if you could even get the thing onto...> Click to See Editorial Reviews

It does fall apart quickly, like the other comments say, but it is super cute for one-night Halloween party. We first put it on our 2-year old (it fit, but was a little tight) for the church Halloween party, and it was excellent. But for the actual Halloween night the bottom flower raffle string fell off. It was not too bad, we just cut it off completely and it still looked ok, but if you expect it to be better quality, you may want to look for something better. It is kind of harsh material too, so our daughter complained that it is itchy after a while. Either way, Halloween is only once a year, and this will work if you are looking for something cute and inexpensive for just 1-2 times to wear for your kid.Poor quality costume
I bought this costume for my daughter for Halloween. The quality is absolutely terrible - within one hour of wearing the dress, the hem on the skirt started ripping off and looked horrible. A few negative reviews and such a low price had me nervous about this costume, but I wasn't at all disappointed. The trim and details look like a standard mid-priced costume sold at Halloween stores. Although the material is a little thin, it's still fairly well constructed and I think it would last a long time if taken care of. The velour portions are actually a bit thicker than I expected. I don't know that the collar would stand up as well as it does in the picture, but it actually doesn't look too bad laying down.
The length descriptions are quite accurate. At 48", my daughter falls in between the medium and small height listings, and I probably should have gone with the small because the medium is a little too long and has ample room in the waist. If you're uncertain, I'd recommend going with the smaller of two sizes since the material is very stretchy and cut roomy.Costume was great!
My daughter had to wear this costume 3 times before Halloween, at drama class, dance class and in school. With all the rough and tumble activities, it remained in good shape. Very cute and SCARY!Gothic costume

The front of this costume is misleading. The back of the costume does not have the layer of green fabric like you see in the front.
