Cute costume, great price, and even had the headpiece included (most other costumes don't come with a headpiece). Daughter loves it. It is a little long, but can be hemmed. Should last through trick o treating. Overall, would recommend.Looks Even Better in Person
This costume is elegant! My only complaint is that it is about 5 inches too long for my daughter and I have to hem 2 layers of ultra thin material.Good Costume

I have to admit that I was impressed with the quality of this costume. My 8 year old daughter felt like an Egyptian princess, especially after receiving so many compliments. Please note that this costume does run small. We ordered the large (based on previous reviews) and glad we did. It was a little large on her but nothing a little fabric tape can't take care of. We used the fabric tape to take up the length in the front, leaving the back trailing behind her. Even though we ordered the large, the headband was a snug fit. The material is a little transparent, so make sure to have your girl wear a cami and leggings underneath. All in all, I would recommend this costume.Nice Costume for the Price!
Our daughter had to have an Egyptian costume for a cultural fair at her school. So we were so happy to not have to make one ourselves. It's not going withstand a lot of wear and tear, actually any all. But this product is decent for a one or two wearings. And the most important thing, our daughter loved it.Queen Of The Nile!

The outfit is adorable... but... really really poorly made. The stitching is crooked and hemline is crooked. Hemline also coming apart due to large spaces between some stitches and loose stitching overall. Made for one time use I guess. Not worth the price.the best costume ever

Got this costume for my 4 year old daughter and boy was it large the shirt had to be pinned in the back to avoid it slipping down over her chest and the pants had to be cut and resewn. Other than the largeness the stiching was done very well and the color was bright and beautiful she still plays with it almost everyday. The costume is very simple, yet well made so it can be used in years to come for other padgents.Thrilled

I would have given it a 5 star however for the amount that I spent on the costume $34+ shipping I don't understand why the packaging was opened and I mean slit down the side like some one had cut it open or something it also looked like it was used. No it wasn't dirty or anything but I can tell someone must have worn it and returned it because it doesn't have the new smell to it it smells worn but does not stink. Anyway contact the seller before you purchase this just to make sure your paying for a new costume and not a used one. This Girl's Colonial Costume was exactly what we were seeking for our daughter to wear in a school performance. The medium (8-10) size fit our petite 10-1/2 year old so well length especially. The costume appears to be fairly well made (as far as costumes go that is) and could also be used for Halloween and passed down to other children for school performances. The dress is all one piece with an opening at the back that ties and the hat is included which looks very cute. The costume was shipped promptly and we received it in just a few days time.Worked fine

It is a nice well made costume except the sizing is a little off. I ordered the 8-10 for my nine year old but instead it fit my five year old. The hat was way smaller it wouldn't fit a 9 month old baby and the belt was to big it almost fit me and I'm 235lbs. We made it work for halloween on my five year old and she was happy. I had to buy something else for my 9 year old it was intended for.Very cute but runs a bit small
My daughter was Nancy Drew for her school's book character day and EVERYONE raved about this costume. It's actually pretty well made for such a great cost. It's a thicker material than most costumes, although the back of the bodice is that same old polyester costume material. My only disappointment is the hat is TEENY tiny. My daughter is about a size 7 or 8 in girls clothing, but I bought this in a 10-12 because it was all that was left. It fit her well and was only slightly big (she wore a shirt under it since the costume is sleeveless. The hat would maybe fit a toddler. I even tried cutting the sides before she wore it but we just scrapped it. For the price it is worth it even without the hat, but the hat issues (which I had read about and was prepared for) caused me to deduct a star.Great Costume

I was pleasantly surprised when we received this costume. It is very elaborate and has great detail in the design. I found it easy for my 7 year old to take on and off on her own, and it was a very good price. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a costume that is easy to care for. It was for a school project but she is going to wear it again for halloween.Fits true to size
