I just recently bought this ninja costume for my daughter for Halloween so she has yet to wear it but we did try it on. The fabric is kind of silky but you can tell that it's cheap and not meant to last for years to come - which is sort of what you expect for a cheap Halloween costume anyways. However, it'll serve it's purpose for Halloween and I'm sure she'll save it for dress up. The colors are cute and it fits pretty snug. My only complaint is the headband, it doesn't fit my child's head - she is 8 and I bought a size 10/12. I'm not sure if the headband is the same size for all the sizes but it should be made bigger for the older kids. I'll have to alter it to get it to work. Overall though - it was a cheap costume and I feel I got what I paid for so I'm satisfied!
Sizes run on the small side
This custom was good. Amazon had it at the lowest price.
BEWARE, the sizes run small. my daughter who wears a size 8, fit perfectly in custom size 10.
Poor quality
Bought this for my 7-year-old for Halloween. She is 48" and 50 lbs. Based on other reviews, I purchased the larger size (10/12) because reviewers said it runs small. Well, it is baggy on her and she was upset that it didn't look tight/smooth across the belly as it shows on the product packaging. I have a sewing machine and was able to take it in but I wish I went with the smaller size because the sleeves are very long. She will be wearing this with black leggings so the leg warmers were tossed. As others said, and even though we bought the larger size, the headband doesn't even come close to fitting using the velcro buttons. We will have to modify it somehow.
Also, there are creases/wrinkles on the foil sun image printed on the front flap of the costume. I have repeatedly tried to iron them out and even tried steaming with a garment steamer but they are still there and very noticeable to me (though it doesn't bother my daughter).
