Bought the toddler size (2-4) my daughter is 3, even double checked it with their sizing chart. It was huge, huge, huge. No way I could make it work. I had a hard time deciding on this product. I looked at the size chart and really could figure out how the sizing was calculated. So, i called amazon, but they couldnt give me any more info either, and they seemed puzzled by the manufacturers chart as well. So, i called the manufacturer but never got thru. Then at amazon's suggestion i also called the company who sells this costume. They were very very nice but they did not know more info on sizing either bc we were all looking at a very vague sizing chart. Ok so I went w a child's small bc my daughter is 3 and I figured a XS would be more for a 2 year old. Well the pkg arrived just before our Halloween party. As soon as i opened the pkg i could read the outside description w the actually size in numbers and it was too big. I had no time for an exchange so i tried on my daughter to see what i could do. I purchased the grass hula skirts for my daughter's 9th birthday party. They arrived on time and were fine for what they are (plastic grass skirts). The velcro adjustment in the back was very important. Of the 6 girls, 3 of the 6 were almost to small even with velcro adjustment so pay attention to the size...probably not good for kids over 8/9 years old or so.Adorable hula skirts!
Compared to a hula skirt I bought for twice the price somewhere else, these hula skirts are way nicer! Very pretty and good quality! You just have to be careful with them so the flowers don't fall off. Someone else said they were able to glue some flowers back on. I only had one flower fall off, out of 12 skirts. I bought this for my 4 year old, who is big for her size, so I bought the next size up, like I do w/ all her clothes. She was so excited to get it! But then she found out that the body suit was extremely oversized for her, and the separate head piece is way too small! The picture shows Uniqua's face being on top of her head and a piece to wrap around the bottom of her chin to make it stay. Well, she has to wrap it behind her neck, under her long hair, which is uncomfortable for her anyways, and distorts Uniqua's face. I thought I'd keep it until she grows into the body suit part, but what good is that going to do if her head grows too big to even put on the face part?! Ugh! You would damage your teeth on this item if you were to use it for a zombie flick. This skinned arm is only good for a stationary prop. This Snow White dress looked gorgeous online, but in reality is too small, badly sewn, and the printed embellishment on the fabric is sticky. This would have been my daughter's third Snow White dress, but it was too small for her. She is barely a 4t, but this dress (size 4-6) was tight on her. Even if it had fit, I would have sent it back as some of the seaming was loose, also the gold embellishment on the bodice was a little tacky to the touch and the material was stuck together. I bought it for a an average build size 12, and it looked like a tent dress. I found a much better quality Mrs. Claus dress at a certain national party store chain in case you're searching desperately as I was. These shoes are terrible. First, the front strap is secured in only one spot- a dot, and when my daughter put them on the front strap flipped forward and out and was unwearable even though she tried hard to walk in them because she wanted to keep them. Each pair of the three was exactly the same. The heal is not safe and the shoe is not shaped well.
I sent them back and got the Disney princess shoes at Target-I'm sure they are also on Amazon, the Disney set seems like new designs and are very comfortable and are actually very good quality. We had a Disney set last year and these are much nicer, sturdier and comfortable.Adorable Dress Up Shoes
These shoes are just adorable. I bought them for my nieces and they have been enjoying them for several months. They wear them with so many different types of dresses and keep pulling them out of their dress up trunk. The girls are 3 and 5, but both seem to be able to wear the shoes and they put on little shows in them and run around the house. Their mom doesn't let them wear them out of the house as they are just for play time but they made a great gift that has held up well.play shoes
