My daughter's school has an International Festival and this year she picked the country Germany, so I was looking for a costume resembling traditional German clothing. This dress is really cute, but I think runs a bit small. My daughter is 4, but wears 5T clothing. I ordered her the size small which says 4-6. T-shirts size 4-6 fit her great. But I would say this dress in the size small is more like a 4T. She can still wear it, but it's a little small on her. Also she says it's itchy. But I think that will be the case with any costume-quality clothing.Fair to ok...
This costume was cute, no doubt... My costume matched it exactly but was the big girl size :) My costume was a much better quality and make then this, I expected them to be similar in quality. Where I had parts sewn on, hers were glued on in a poor manner. Since this is just a costume I won't be too hard on it but I'm comparing it with mine which was identical. The wario costume is made out of the flimsiest polyester , like a ladies nylon, it smells like formaldehyde plastic. As for the costume, this is very cute. My daughter loved wearing it. It is a little scratchy around the neck, but that was resolved putting a black turtleneck under the costume. I bought a size bigger and it didn't swallow her up in the least. Esp since we put a shirt underneath. The hat worked perfectly for us re: standing up straight. Even if it hadn't, it would've been fine. All you have to do is stuff some paper or tissue in there. I tacked two orange ribbons on either side and tied the hat under her chin. This is a cute autumn-themed costume. it's all one piece with several layers on the skirt. As with most of the costumes of this type, it comes with a thin mesh material that makes up the sleeves. That mess separates easily from the armhols so I've had to do sewing every time it was worn. And older child can be a bit careful with it - I wouldn't buy it for a toddler though. They'd be too frustrated with it and it would only take one tug to fray the sleeve right off.Cute costume!
Purchased for my 9 year old. She looked at every catalog and website imaginable, and this one was her favorite. It's just as cute as the picture IRL after some time in a steamy bathroom to get the wrinkles out of the tulle layers. It is, however, a little flimsy and scratchy on the inside. I am glad that I sized up for this. If you need the child to wear layers under it you will want to do the same. The length is right, but the bodice is narrow unless you size up. My daughter absolutely loves this costume! She wanted to wear it to bed and to school the next day. The fabric is super soft and the color and print are perfect; not too yellow, not too orange. I compared her measurements to their size chart and got a medium...should have gotten a large. It seems to run a bit small, if she grows at all between now and Halloween she won't fit into it anymore. The black fuzzies at the neck, arms and legs are nice and soft, just like you'd expect, but not attached too well. The opening in the back to put the costume on isn't quite long enough so we had to be very careful when trying it on, maybe in a larger size the opening would have been long enough. Overall a great costume that I would recommend to others.Now furless

I got this for my daughter for Halloween 2009 so she could be Little Miss Muffet, with her little brother as her spider. She absolutely loved it and has chosen to wear it again this year, with her other brother as this year's spider! It looks adorable on and is pretty durable, the only problem is that hat. It doesn't show in the photo, but there is no fabric on the crown of the head, so the hair shows through, which is fine, but the plastic wire inside the brim of the hat is the twist-to-fold type and keeps the hat from getting into the shape you see in the photo. I have spent a lot of time working with it to get it to sit right, but with only mediocre results. It's still cute and I'd buy it again, but the hat is truly a pain.bad news

So I bought this for my daughter for Halloween. It was a bad idea and it cost more to send it back then I want to spend, so I still have it.
The problem is that after reading the reviews I bought a size bigger, but the waist of this thing its so thin that the size bigger fits her but... its way to long now. She won't be able to fit in it next year even if she grows taller because the waist will be to small.

Got this for my daughter this past Halloween. She loved it, and still wears it around the house some when she's "playing mermaid". My only issue with it was it fit kinda snug, and the tail is right in front of her feet. You may want to order a size larger especially if you want to wear anything under it. I got it for Halloween and here in PA it can be kinda cold by the end of October. And my "little mermaid" isn't the most graceful walker so I really had to help her when walking fom house to house so if it was up to me the tail would be relocated to behind the feet. Our grandson said he wanted to be a pumpkin for Halloween. His aunt suggested several and we liked this one the best. Meanwhile, he told his friends at school, who seemed dubious about being a pumpkin rather than, say, a superhero. But when he showed up wearing the costume, they were really surprised, and his costume was one of the highlights of the day. People took photos everywhere he went.
The costume is inflated by a small fan. Although there were instructions, they only covered the opration of the fan itself (with no reference to the costume). It took a little while to find the pocket that holds the fan, but then it rapidly inflated. He was very pleased once it expanded to full size. Note: carry along extra batteries! Just as cute as the photo. My son is 6 and it fit him pretty well. Bigger kids would probably have trouble fitting into the arm and leg holes which were pretty tight. Also the design didn't allow for good leg movement, so my son had a little trouble running from house to house as fast as he wanted - I suppose that made it easier for me to keep up :) I ended up pushing the bottom of the legs up to knee level - not worn as pants as shown in the photo. This is an adorable little dress-up skirt, and for $10 you can't go wrong. The petals inside the tulle give it a nice and full appearance. The color is vibrant, and the quality is quite good. Did I mention it's only $10? My 20-month old loves to take it on and off, playing dress-up.did not fit my three year old
It was so small it looked like it was made for a doll. I even went back to double check that I did not make a mistake and ordered for a doll. It would not fit my three year old and she wears a 4t. Cheaply made. The flower is poorly glued on and the material is very thin, looks much fully and better in the photo. Save your money!Not as pictured
I bought this skirt for my 2 year old, for a Tinkerbell party. The color is great, but it has no lining. It looks cheap. I will either have to add lining myself or buy something else for her to wear underneath it, because it is literally two layers of tool. You can see right through it. This company makes the most amazing dress up clothes. My daughter wore here Cinderella dress around Disney world for five days and it still looks amazing. The dress we bought in the park started to fray after one wear and she complained that it was itchy. These are made from soft, quality fabrics that will last through years of wear and washes. I love these dresses and my daughter does too!Belle of the ball!
I found this while looking online for a higher quality dress for my 3yr old to wear to disney on ice. It is a little more expensive than the ones at target and walmart but not by much- plus it is MUCH better quality than those and machine washable (a big plus!) I like that it is long so she could wear it longer. The dress isn't as full as the picture because they have the "fullness skirt" on in the pic.

The store said they released funds back to my account on 10/25/2011 for $20.09. The funds have yet reached my bank and they did not refund it in full. The costume is like any other kid's costume in regards to quality and what you're getting. However, figuring out the right size ended up being the tricky issue.
