We got this for our daughters birthday since she wanted a Hawk Girl Birthday theme for her party. The mask was brittle and broke in multiple places when we took it out of the package. The packaging was stronger. Maybe they should just make the mask out of the packaging material?
Anyhow, the wings were floppy and didn't hold shape at all. We have bought a lot of superhero costumes over the years and this was by far the worse. It is a shame.
Hawkgirl costume
My daughter is great fan of Hawkgirl and Justice League in general, so she was so excited when I found and bought this costume for her. The wings would not hold up and the mask tears easily and didn't fit her head too well. The eye cut-out rubbed against her eyes. But the costume looks good in general. The same costume was about $5 dollars more at Target. I bought floral wiring and attached it to her wings to keep them up.
Could be better
My daughter is a Justice League fanatic and was estatic to be able to be Hawkgirl, but she isn't as thrilled with the costume as I would have hoped. The mask is very delicate plastic and the wings have no way to stay upright. They are just cloth that just flops over. I don't know how they did it in the picture. The top is itchy. The sizing did fit just fine and it was delivered promptly.
