I got this for my 2yo daughter for Christmas, and she loves it. I got it when the price dropped really low, so at that time it was a great value. It is more like recital quality dance wear than place clothes. She wears a 3T and it is almost to her ankles. The tag says 3-4. It is a leotard with an attached skirt. The sequins are on the front and straps and the rest is just pink. It says to hand wash, hang dry and is only the dress, none of the other things pictured. My favorite moment of 09 Christmas was watching my cousin's two and a half year old girl literally scream with delight when she opened this present. Unbelievable! This costume is so pretty and of the highest quality possible. The attention to detail is stunning. It's stretchy to grow in and seems comfortable as my cousin's little girl will not take it off. This dress is perfect for a quality princess. Good materials, it is built like a gymnastics suit with a big giant, pluming tutu that is way more exaggerated than it looks in the picture. It spins (which is a requirement in my daughter's opinion) and fluffs just beautifully as she sits, and spins and dances around. Definitely highly recommended. My daughter has several "princess" dresses for the dress-up play and this one is her favorite. We had a play date with several girls and 1 layer of the skirt got accidentally ruined (she still wears it at home but can't wear it to parties). When i asked her which princess dress would she like to have as a birthday present got a request for another "Vidia" dress. It is embellished with sequins which might be a little scratchy if the dress not put on properly but I just pay attention to the shoulder straps positioning when she's putting it on by herself and after adjustment it fits fine.
