What we liked:
1. Very cute with fun pirate details
2. Easy to put on with velco in the back
3. Came in a garment bag to keep all the pieces together
4. Sizing was just right
What we didn't like:
1. Fabric was itchy! Luckily it was cold so my daughter wore a thermal shirt and leggings under the costume.
2. One of the skull details on the skirt started falling off soon after the first wear. Nothing a little hot glue couldn't fix but it was annoying.
3. Head scarf is a satin-like material and slid right off her head. Even bobby pins wouldn't keep it on. She ended up not wearing it.
It's a cute costume and would purchase again.

Guys, I would not recommend this costume, nor would I recommend this seller, "Brands on Sale", who does not do returns on costumes (issue for me since you don't quite know what you are getting in any case with clothing in general, ex: size or quality).
We just got it and are very disappointed. It is terribly hard and scratchy on the inside. The costumes interior is nearly the texture of the plastic side of Velcro (the toothy side) (enough that my munchkins hair catches in it and her skin is scratched). It is also a very "large" small (course I have read others having the opposite problem with size...probably only depends which end of 6-8 you are looking at~we are on the youngest side, actually 5 and wanted to give her plenty of growing room).
I also recommend checking this seller's return policies before purchasing to make sure you are ok with them. They nearly do not accept returns (really have no idea what they do accept returns on...guess if the item is defect...Puppy-perfect

Purchased for my daughter's 5th birthday as a special dress-up prop for the Birthday Girl! She was very excited that she was made special as the guest of honor and that while she enjoying the party with her friends, she had an extra touch of "special" on her day.
I would say that this item is best suited for a child aged 7-10 as it is BIG. My daugther is an average sized 5 year old and this was very big on her. Also, the headband is a waste of money, really unattractive and not sure at all the purpose of the headband.
Would the description provided a better picture of the headband, I probably would have gone with a nicer robe for the same amount that I spent on this set OR would have bought the robe on it's own for less $$$.
A great match to the spa slippers in pink that all of the girls enjoyed. Just wish I would have had better pictures at the end of the day and would not have dealt with a RUDE seller (NOT Amazon). Ugh -- seller really discouraged me...> Click to See Editorial Reviews

I got this for Halloween for my daughter who is a huge Tinkerbell fan! I bought a size 4-6x thinking it would be too big (she's 3 months shy of 3 years old, 29 lbs and about 32 inches tall). I would say this costume is running small because she's wearing a 3T now and this fit her pretty good. It was a little loose on the top but once the wings are attached you don't notice. The material of the costume itself is very durable and pretty. The only thing that I was disappointed in was the wings. They are like a strong plastic and the glitter designs are in the inside of the wings so if she's looking at u they show, but if her back is too you it's just plastic. My granddaughters love the TV series Little House on the Prairie. They loved these dresses. The dresses are roomy and work very nice with the apron so you don't have to worry about the size. They spend hours playing dress up
and "old times". The girls are 5 and 8 yrs old and this work well for both. The small size was perfect for the 5yr old and the medium worked for the 8 yr old.Laura Engles
