My daughters are now 5 and 6, and we've been buying Little Adventures Dress Up Clothes since they were toddlers. I've received a few other brands as gifts, but my girls always come back to the Little Adventures as their favorites. Here's the top reasons why:
1. The dresses go on and off like regular clothing. They don't have any Velcro, they simply slip on/off over the head and so my girls can easily dress themselves.
2. The bodices of the dress are not "itchy." A lot of other brands have sewing/stitching/seams that lay directly on the chest, and my girls tell me they "itch." These dresses seem much smoother on the parts that lay directly against the body, and I've never had the "itchy" complaint.
3. Machine Washable. These dresses go through our laundry at least once or twice a month, and they hold up great. Some other brands that I've washed come out with half their glitter gone, or torn hems. When my girls outgrow their dresses, they're...
Love these dresses!
These are great dresses. The quality is far better than the cheap Disney princess gowns you buy at Walmart or ToysRus. They are pricey, but are worn like a normal dress (no flimsy velcro holding them together). My girls are 4 and wear these at least 2-3x a day. This is our second set of them. After a few months, they start to show wear in the fabric where they catch on things, but overall they are worth it!

Dress up occurs in my house DAILY. This is the 'go-to' dress for everyone as it is super comfortable - NO itchy materials or accessories. HIGHLY recommend.
