My 4 year old has been wanting this dress for eons (we saw it at Target in late 2011). She got it for Christmas, and it was a huge disappointment. My daughter is in the 75th percentile in height, 40th in weight. She is slender, but not scrawny. This dress fits so poorly across the neckline. It gaps A LOT, so much so that a not very particular 4 year old has a fit over it. And the funny part is, it fits well in the ribcage, the shoulders and in the length. Possibly we received a defect? Not sure, but I feel bad that my Twilight Sparkle-loving daughter hates this costume.
Cute outfit but awkward fit at neck
I ordered this outfit for my 4 year old for Halloween and she loved it, Twilight Sparkle was exactly what she wanted to be. My only complaint was that I had to use a safety pin to hold together the top because it is very wide. I also ordered the accessory kit with the purse, wand, bracelets and compact and together it was the perfect costume for my daughter.
