Very cute for the price! Striped pants were weird, so we tossed them and my daughter wore black stretchy pants and boots. We pinned the lapel of the jacket in place and added a black tutu-like skirt under this costume's skirt. My daughter played the captain of the ship in her school musical and the hat and little jacket were both very girly and very captain-like. Size seemed just slightly smaller than most XL, mostly in the sleeves.
