The costume was very durable true to size. It also had a lot of accessories with it - a leather-like arm cuff, beads and feathers to complete the look. I just had to buy makeup and braid my daughter's hair. She definitely had the best costume of anyone I saw on Halloween. The only thing I would change is to use it more during the day so more people could have seen it. It was too good to show off at night only.
GREAT COSTUME!
I was surprised at how real this costume is! My daughter is a HUGE fan of Avatar, me too! She wears this EVERY DAY! So far, it has held up to everyday use. I would order a size bigger than what you think you need. It seems that this costume runs a little small.
Runs Small!
This runs extremely small! My son just turned 5 and is only in the 25th percentile for height so I naturally ordered the small which is supposed to be for 4-6 year olds. I could not even zip up the zipper past my son's shoulder blades, and he had a permanent wedgie the whole time wearing this! I noticed at the end of the party, the material had torn where the zipper was pulling on it. Saying all that, my son loved his costume and got lots of compliments on it. He truly felt like a real life Avatar! Just order a size up, and you should be okay!
