This costume is quite well-made and fit my very tall 8 yr old daughter perfectly. The only let-down, which was kind of a big one, was that the pompoms were NOT INCLUDED. Unlike some other costume accessories, pompoms are kind of essential to a cheerleader costume (my daughter even calls it a "pompom girl")! As we didn't open the costume until a couple days before Halloween, we couldn't find pompoms in any of the countless costume or sports stores. In fact, the biggest craft stores didn't even have kits to make them. Fortunately, I found something on the web which showed how to make them from curling ribbon, and that did the trick (but did take a while and cost some $$). All of that frustration and stress could have been avoided if the picture of the costume did not show pompoms with it, or if they had put in bold letters somewhere that they were NOT included. Oh well, lesson learned. Hopefully this review will keep someone else from being stuck like we were.
