The fabric is not see-through, and the head scarf was attached to the robe. It does run a little small, the 12-14 fit my size 10 daughter perfectly with no hemming necessary. The draw-back is that it arrives very wrinkled, and it warns you not to iron it. Pretty shade of blue.

I got this for my 7 year old daughter who is 48 inches tall and 50 pounds. It's perfect because it's long so she will grow into it. She LOVES it. :)
