My daughters (ages 3 and 7) both love to play in these fairy outfits. The construction is good and they can be washed in the washing machine without falling apart. They've played with theirs for quite a long time and they have been washed multiple times. (I haven't washed the wings, just the outfits). As far as the quality of construction, I am very pleased. It isn't cheap "plasticky" fabric stuff like most Halloween costumes. So far, nothing has torn or fallen apart. The outfit is really cute and the wings are very pretty too. All in all, a great costume.
My only complaint is that the shirt part of the costume is too short and rolls up when it is being worn. It was like a bikini top on my 7 year old because of the rolling. It rolled clear up under my 3 year old's armpits also, but because she is smaller the top was easier to tuck into the skirt so she could still wear it.
I fixed this problem by sewing the top to the skirt to make it into a one-piece...
Adorable dress-up fun
This fairy outfit was perfect for my 2 (now 3) year old. It's pretty good quality, for the price. The top is a little short, so I can see that it's not going to fit much longer. The skirt would probably grow with her for a while, if she hadn't stepped on the tulle and it all came apart at the waist. I found the tulle too difficult to repair with my limited sewing skills, so we didn't keep it.
She used it for about a year, and it was her go-to dress-up costume that she always wanted to wear. I think we got our money's worth from the outfit, just a little sad it didn't last because she loved it so much.
Great quality
This dress is not a toy. It is made to last. Very durable. Just the elastic band of the wings will get loose and you might need to replace it after sometime. The top and the dress are very well-made. Highly recommended.
