I'm disappointed in the quality of this item. I wasn't expecting it to be something wonderful, but it's just too far in the opposite direction of wonderful for me. It was meant to be a gift for my two year old granddaughter. Even on such a young child, this cape would be tiny, (in my opinion). The quality of the stitching and construction is poor... crooked stitching & one front side of cape is longer than the other. The velcro is attached unevenly also. I'm going to end up taking this shawl apart and buying some additional fancy fabric to remake it into more of what I want it to be ~ something special enough for my little someone special! I'm going to be redoing the hat into something nicer as well ~ although, the hat is so small, I'm wondering if it will be wasted effort. I'm afraid it will be too small to even stay on her head.
