The small size will only fit a 6 year old. Way way too big for a 4 or 5 year old. Expensive Costume not too be of quality material as well. Your better off going out and buying a blue bathrobe and getting the right size and go to Michael's art store and make your own necklace

I bought a small for my 7 yr old...It swims on her...it is meant for a 4 -6 yr old but I have had to significantly alter it...I had to shorten the sleaves several inches and velcro the front so that it will stay put..It would have been easier to start from scratch...
Picture is a little deceiving
I am guessing they pinned this costume up on the model in the picture. The color of the robe is a lot brighter in person then the picture. Actually it looks more like the color of the other cheaper costume I saw. I ordered a medium (sz8-10) because I thought the small (sz4-6) might be too small. Well, it is HUGE on my daughter. She normally wears a size 7. So, I am going to have to pin it or do something to make it look better. Probably adding some velcro would be a good fixer for the problem.
