I'll start by saying that my neice was happy with it, despite my feelings. She loves Daphne & couldn't have been more excited. I just couldn't believe how lightweight the material was.
I guess it would be fine if it's warm during halloween, where you live. We live on the east coast, and it's way too light. you need more than one layer under it, if you don't want to hide her costume with a coat.
it's a different color than the photo, sort of a pink color.
but as I said, she is thrilled.
