Ordered this because my 6 year old grandaughter wanted to be Doc McStuffins for Halloween. She wears a 6x and this fits well, although it's pretty long. I would say it might fit up to an 8, but not a 10 unless the child was very slim. Pleasantly surprised at the quality. I expected a super cheap cotton that would be a mess of wrinkles after washing, but if taken right out of the dryer, doesn't need ironing. I wish some children's clothes were made as well as this.

Shape is fine, but material is nearly transparent. Don't expect it to hold up in the washing machine. It met our needs for a Halloween costume, but only for one night.
Shop Around
The lab coat was made of cheap, flimsy fabric and actually had a hole in one seam which I repaired. If I hadn't needed it for a school play, I would have returned it.
