We bought this in pink to participate in a Flapper-themed children's parade. It is so scratchy on the inside that Mom had to put a tank top under it so that it didn't touch our little girl's skin. It is true to size - she is on the edge of outgrowing a 3T and if she were any bigger it wouldn't fit her. Since the parade, we have stuck it in the dress-up box. The feathers don't fall off at every moment, even though she wore the dress to and from the parade in her carseat. She takes it out occasionally and calls it her "princess dress," but it isn't her favorite outfit by any stretch of the imagination. I only had a few choices on Amazon - but if I knew about these details, I would have tried the other option. The only unqualified positive I have to state is that she was absolutely adorable, and it was easy to find headband material that matched the dress at a local fabric shop.
