It's a good buy! =-)
I bought this costume for my daughter who is almost 6yrs old. Got it in the mail today. We purchased the size small, 4-6. It's a good fit with some room to grow(a little over an inch) in the sleeves and pants, and she is in the 75% for height. The only downfall we can find so far, is that when you tie the side sash, it's waaay to big, and it would only tie in the front, and not the side. I fixed the problem right away with scissors, making two holes. One on the inside of the shirt opposite of the tied side, to bring the end of the sash through and around the back (under the shirt.) The other, right next to the seam where the sash ties, to bring he end of the sash back out. There is then still plenty of sash to tie and make a good sized bow. The company should have sewn the sash from the left hand side on the seam, but instead they had it sewn on the edge of the shirt where the pink edges are. Easy fix. The pants are kinda cheap, with just an elastic waist band. You can use...
A Kid's Review
I bought this outfit for last Halloween and my daughter looked amazing in it. There was room in the outfit for layering which was nice - so we put a long sleeved black turtleneck sweater under it and she was able to go trick or treating without a jacket.
She likes to wear it around the house sometimes now that Halloween is over. Very cute, satiny material.
Great Outfit For Your Little Ninja Warrior Girl!
We ordered this Girl Ninja costume as our Plan B. The original costume (different design) was out of stock. So, we ordered this costume (size S) for $13 on Amazon (great price). My daughter is 4 and it fit her perfectly with room to grow. We live in the Midwest and Halloweens are typically pretty chilly. So she was able to wear a black turtleneck and a black fleece pullover underneath her costume. Additionally, she had on a pair of black leggings underneath. She looked GREAT! She received LOTS of compliments. She also had a lighted sword (something she already had at home) that my husband strapped across her neck and one shoulder with a black shoe string. It hung across her back with the sword glowing and changing colors. She LOVED it! I'm not sure why a previous reviewer indicated it was hard to tie. Perhaps they didn't realize that it ties like a kimono. There is a pre-cut slit in the waist seam for you to tie the belt around the waist on the interior, then pull the belt through...
