My 8-year-old daughter wanted this for her Halloween costume. She wears a size 7-8 in dresses and size medium fits her perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the material has gold glitter highlighting the leopard spots. The trim is more of a purply-pink than a hot pink. The costume consists of a sleeveless tank-style dress in black at the top with tiered ruffles along the hips. A padded leopard tail Velcros onto the back of the skirted area and there are ties to cinch the dress in the back. The separate zippered cropped jacket has padded leopard ears on the hood and attached fingerless gloves with pink paw pads on the palm side. The dress is short and will require separate leggings for both modesty and warmth.
It's a pretty light-weight costume and doesn't seem very durable but time will tell. Upon opening the package, there were many loose threads but nothing a few snips couldn't neaten up. So far no seams have come undone. My daughter loves it so much...
Size was smaller than advertised.
I ordered a Medium costume for my 9 year old daughter. The website said M was size 8-10. When I got it, the package said for ages 5-7. I returned the Medium and ordered Large. The Large fits great and is adorable.

Daughter loves it, looks very cute. The hand ripped with one wearing, had to sew it. Gets sparkles all over, minor annoyance. Overall really great costume!
