Got this for a halloween costume and it now doubles as my child's play dress- it is frilly, it is poofy, and it is girly! The skirt is big and the underlining is a plastic lining similar to some cheap pocketbooks, but has been durable! The netting on the outside is delicate, but has withstood lots of play. The hat is quite weird- after shaping and manipulating the wire in the brim, it looks much better.
Southern Belle Child Costume
I bought this costume for my 7 year old granddaughter for Christmas. This dress is a little see-through so I will have to purchase a slip for her to wear under the dress. At least this hat looks like a hat, although the ribbon on top is a little loose. I can fix that. The dress is beautiful and well worth the money. My granddaughter loves it.
Southern Belle costume
We chose this costume for a school event at my 8yr old daughter's school. She looked so cute that we used it as an outfit for her birthday pictures.
The only drawback is - It comes in a small package but once we steamed the wrinkles away, it looked beautiful. I'm very happy with the results.
