It was way too long, but easy to cut and hem. The criss cross pieces on the front came off after about four hours. The rest was sturdy enough and lasted fine through two days of wear. It was a windy day and I found with a tiny snip (ok so I cut two long, but not wide, strips) of the "veil" on the back of the hat, I could make straps to tie it on.
I would like to mention that it's almost a year since my original review, it's still wearing fine. She's used it for dress-up quite often!
return policy on this item is ridiculous
This item came and was not what my daughter had in mind. I reviewed their return policy, which includes having to email for a return authorization number. I never received any response to my multiple emails, and conveniently all telephone numbers were missing from the paperwork. I ended up not being able to return and missing my short "window" where returns were possible. Be sure you are going to like your item before buying from this vendore - they make returns impossible!
Torn dress
Dear Sir
I bought this costume for my niece. The dress came in torn.
We live in Israel and the dress use ordered to a friend house in the US and she brought it with her.
It's a shame to disappoint a 9 year old with a new torn dress.
