Nice, Inexpensive Costume.
I paid $18 for a Large, which is described as fitting for ages 12-14 (not size 12-14). This is correct. My eleven-year-old daughter is 4'11" and weighs 120 pounds; this fit her just fine.

The arms were a bit tight, but a few well-placed cuts with the scissors fixed that quickly (the costume comes with some cuts in it to fit the zombie motif). The rear zips up, which is quite helpful. We actually bought this to use as a Lizzy Borden costume, not a zombie costume. It looks like an old-fashioned dress, which is what we wanted. It's plain black with some tears in it (there on purpose) and some grey gauze for contrast. The belt is a simple black tie-behind piece of fabric, with some heavier fabric in the middle. Construction seems good, and my daughter commented that the costume was a little warm. This will help when trick-or-treating at night; here it gets to about 65 degrees.

In all, I have no complaints about the costume. It looks as advertised, it's not a piece of...

Fantastic
We got this for our five year old daughter last year. This is the cutest costume and so much better made than most packaged halloween costumes. We got a ton of compliments on it, and the size small is still large enough for her to wear this year. We paired it with a nice wig and she was the cutest trick or treater on the block! I will be genuinely sad when this costume wont fit her anymore!

Just what I was looking for....
I had seen this in a Halloween store with my daughter a few weeks before ordering and it was way overpriced. I bought it through Amazon because the price is always better than in stores. The costume turned out to be even better when we recieved it. It had more detailing on it than the one in stores and it was the same exact photo on the front!

Cheaply made
If I saw this in person I never would have purchased it, it is very cheap and poor quality. The wings ripped within 5 minutes and did not stand up right unless I pinned the top to the back of the shoulders. My daughter wore it trick or treating, and to her school party then it went to the trash.

Good For One Use - except the wings
My 5 year old looked adorable in this costume. However, the wings flopped around too much. Of course, the costume already has tears in the arm seams ... .

Great quality
Purchased this outfit for my daughters school play as she was playing Florence Nigtingale. Great price and even better quality.

Fun costume for reasonable price
My daughter used this for a wax museum project at school where they learn about a historical figure and then all the classes together invite the parents, dress up as their character, and provide biographical information about their character as the parents circulate through the classrooms. My daughter chose Florence Nightingale as her character and this costume worked great for it. She also still uses it when younger friends and cousins come to play and want to play dress up. It's not top quality like a fine seamstress would make, but reasonably well-made for a reasonable price.

Pilgrim Girl Costume
I gave this to my granddaughter for her eighth birthday. She was thrilled, immediately put it on and wore it for the rest of the day. She really enjoys "old-fashioned" dresses.

The dress is beautiful. However, the headpiece that was stated as "included" was not in the package. When I called the company, they could not send one and discounted 5% of the cost. I don't think 5% was enough because I then had to order a microphone and paid $15 for it!

This dress is cute on. Made with stretchy material so a child could get a couple of years fun and use from it. It's a play dress, not with high end materials you need to worry about.

Love this dress!
I received this dress within 3 days of placing the order. It was packaged nicely, therefore everything was intact. The dress is absolutely adorable. The shimmer is even more than I imagined, which my 3 year loves so much. She'll be able to use this for years to come for dress up (size 4-6). I was thinking it would be more of a dark purple around the waist and fuscia pink for the rest, however, it has a light lavendar waistline and hot pink overall. It's still exceptionally pretty. The only thing I was not satisfied with was the princess hat, it's cheaply made and I won't be using it. I ordered a pretty tiara instead for her to wear on Halloween night. I definitely recommend this gown. Your princess will love this dress, too!

great versatile costume.

Fun and Pretty
This dress was purchased for Halloween and was much enjoyed. There are alot of details and is used for pretend play. The booties are smaller; too small for the child size the dress is made for.

Little girls love princess dresses.
This is a great dress! She put it on right away and never took it off on Thanksgiving. Then wore it the next day over jersey and pants! The accessories are fun. Any little girl will love this! Ours is 2 1/2 and very girly-girly.

Cute and fun..only one fault
I bought this for my 5 year old, who loves both "High School Musical" and cheerleaders. You get a lot for your money, including a well-made (for a kid's costume) outfit, earrings, pom poms, whistle, megaphone, and headset. Once fully attired, you little girl will look great and act...well..just like a cheerleader. An added bonus is the sturdy book-like box, which easily serves as a permanent storage locker or a keepsake for other things. My only complaint is that the pom poms shed like mad and the glitter which adorns the microphone head sloughs off rapidly, leaving specks all over the house. Putting this minor issue aside, however, this is a fun toy that your girl will love.

cool effect but ridiculously fragile
Bought this flash gun for a special effect in a show that runs for 6 months. Despite being extremely careful with it (keeping it in a protected case, and handling for the first 5 minutes of the show) one of the wire connections shorted out in under 10 uses. The problem is all of the wires are exposed and the solders are places where it is easy to bump it when handling. This is highly disappointing since the gun is not returnable. There are much better flash guns on the market for cheaper, keep looking before you buy this product!

Hat was too small
My eight year old daughter has a very normal sized head: maybe even on the small size. The hat was way too small and because it did not have any ability to "stretch" whatsoever we were in a jam. Holloween was only a few days away. Without the hat, it is just a black, orang, yellow and white dress. The hat really makes the costume. My wife and I wasted a lot of time trying to rig a strap and we also tried slitting the inside of the hat, but nothing worked well and the hat was a problem it kept falling off my daughters head dispite our best version of a strap. The rest of the custume was quite nice, so I am giving a very generous 3 stars instead of 1 oe 2 stars.

Halloween
The costume was great. Only complaint, my granddaughter is just going into a size 8. The costume was for size 8-10 and fit her perfectly. It would not fit a size 10,

Dress only decent part
My daughter has long dark hair, so we were able to ditch the ineffective wig. The wig didn't work at all. ?! I'm reviewing this 2 years after I bought it, maybe it's a better design now? The dress was fine, the belt cheap. But it worked for us, mostly with me augmenting with our own stuff.

Princess Leia wig too small
The dress and belt are fine- a little see through. The wig was too small to fit on any of my kids' heads. We had to purchase an alternative wig.

nice costume BUT...
The item I ordered came in a certain size. I checked many size charts on-line for this particular product. my child is 8, I bought her the proper charted size. When received, it was WAY TOO LONG and the wig was too small for her head. It fit my 2 yr old perfectly though. I believe it wasn't the seller's fault, but the maker of the product.

Pretty but Cheaply made
Although this is a very pretty little dress the quality is very poor! After one ware the cheap fabric frayed, snagged and showed signs of distress. I washed it on gentle cycle in a lingerie bag and dried on gentle cycle, and it fell apart. Many parts of this outfit is glued and not sewn together. As the glue melted in the drier it stuck to different parts of the dress leaving glue spots everywhere. I would NOT recommend this product nor purchase from this company again.

Not like its pictured
The first one I received was not completed and I had to send it back. The response was quick and a new one was sent right away. But when I received the second one, it was incomplete too! It does not look like the picture, other than the colors. Under the hat is not lined with the peach fabric. There are only two fabric flowers near bottom on the front, the other 4 places around bottom only has a folded over piece of ribbon. At each of these 6 places, there are gaps in the fabric. The fabric is not gathered at flowers, it just hangs over the fabric flowers, which I will have to do some sewing on to fix. These are not the only issues with it that will need work to fix. This would be fine as a 'starter dress' if you don't mind finishing it yourself.

Cute, but cheap
I bought this for my little girl for Christmas and let's just say it doesn't look like the picture. The construction is pretty cheap- all the white portions (around the collar and part of the bow) are SO cheap looking- like plastic. The hat is a joke- there's no way it will my daughter who is three- and it looks NOTHING like the picture. The picture of the hat actually looks cute. The hoop skirt does not work. It was made out of some plastic tubing that folded on itself and I had to take it out for her even to wear the dress. It's cute in the picture, but I wouldn't recommend it.
