We live in an area with not a lot of Jews. The last thing I wanted was for my son to feel like the only one. When I found this costume (what an insignificant word to describe this wonder) I was overjoyed. We bought 10 (a Minyan if you will.) We wrapped them up and put them under the Christmas tree of every non-Jewish kid (if you think only girls can be a Jewish mother, "Feh!" is all I can say.) in the neighborhood. Though the parents seemed leery, the kids could not have been happier. They put the outfits on immediately and an hour later they had all cooked their first brisket. I have three kids, 5, 7 and 10.. All boys. I tried and tried and tried to get them to do chores around the house. Nothing too excruciating, just basic roofing, masonry, and electrical. I couldnt even get them to pressure wash the drive way or clean the gutters.
But now thanks to "Uncle Charlie" the kids will do chores lickity split. After the first initial visit, all I have to do is subtley remind them how much "Uncle Charlie" likes a dirty cluttered home.
Before "Uncle Charlie" showed up, I would intentionally put on Texas Chainsaw Massacre immediately after bedtime. Obviously, they would rituallistically get out of bed saying they needed water or had to pee or something typical like that and sure enough they'd accidently stumble upon me watching a "grownup movie". After about five weeks of this, I then began to drop stories and remarks about "Uncle Charlie." The description States that it is a complete costume, just add boots. Let me point out CLEARLY that the wig is NOT included. The costume did not survive the night with gentle wear. A chain broke and a loop of belt tore off. I bought the same character costume at Party City in town (strictly for the wig-which came with it). I paid $29.99 for a sturdier costume with ALL accessories including a monster high button, a necklace, and the wig! Very disappointed in this purchase online. Don't waste your money!i loved it
With all the bad reviews i had to say something because i found this costume absolutely adorable. Its quality was no crappier than any other inexpensive halloween costume ive bought. I agree the short bullet point description does say its a complete costume and amazon should be contacted about this.....however, if you keep reading lower on the page it describes exactly what is included and it does not say wig. I did have a prob understanding the size chart since a M is size 8 - 10. Size M is more like size 6, it is very small i saw it at the store.
My sister in law is a size 10 and very thin so the large was her size. She lives in Brazil where these types of costumes dont exist and where anything monster high is so expensive most cant afford it.. She was very greatful to have such a beautiful costume.It is what it is
Like most costumes these days, the fabric is scratchy and cheap and the construction is poor. Having said that, my daughter absolutely loves Monster High and she couldn't be happier to be wearing this costume for Halloween. I purchased this costume from another online e-tailer but wanted to make sure others don't get fooled by the photo. I was seriously shocked and disappointed about the quality of this costume. It couldn't be any worse and it fell apart after a couple hours of my daughter walking around in it. The top metallic material is paper thin and cheap, and the seams are not nicely finished. Above all, the price is WAYYYYYY too much for what you get. It's not worth a penny over $15. I gave this two stars only because my daughter likes it. We also purchased another costume by Disguise and will NEVER again. Luckily I have a sewing machine and can fix the costumes, but I would expect at the prices I paid, they should last for a while.Poor quality
Bought this for my 5 yr old and the top is of very poor quality and scratchy material. It was not even stitched right with one shoulder sleeve being slightly longer than the other. If you are serious about a truly unique and extraordinary costume then shop some more,
I highly recommend Limited Edition Snow White costume by Disney. It is hard to find
it because it was released like two or so years ago but you can find it at places
as e bay. It is gorgeous. I mean that thing you could just put on the stage
with Shakespearians actors and you would just blend in. So beautiful.
My daughter was the most beautiful girl ever in it. She won a costume contest
that about 900 kids participated in. She won the first prize!
At her birthday she wore it too as it was Snow White themed and what a pictures

I put a shirt on underneath to keep her warm on a cool night and bought a pair of mocassins to finish this outfit. If you've ever been to the Halloween store you know that many of the costumes in the mega-Halloween warehouse are pretty much crap and meant to be worn for the few hours you can keep your paws off your wife/girlfriend/mother(if you're from Tennessee) in her sexy nurse/witch/police/schoolgirl outfit.
This costume is the real deal. She wore it all day for 2 days of the project and it's in great shape. It has all the stuff you need to turn your little princess into Sacajawea or Pocahontas or any of the other characters who's stories are much more depressing in reality than your 3rd grade textbook let on.
