Bought for my 6yo but on her is definately on the small side and she is not a tall child. She is also very thin and there isn't much space inside this costume. I bought it supposedly for a 6 yo but the size is definately on the small side. I wuld recommend for 3-4yo as best unless your kid is tiny.Brilliant costume!!

My daughter looked so cute in this costume. It was a hit at school. It was a bit warm for our Arizona weather...however, it would be great for climates that have Fall weather. You have to wash it by hand, and must be careful because the pink fur will bleed on to the green material if it lays on it. This costume is ADORABLE! We received tons of compliments on it and my 6 yr old was more than excited to wear this for Halloween! I found the quality to be excellent, we had no problems with rips or tears at all. We wore this 2 different days for trick or treating and that included in-and-out of the car numerous times without any problems. We wore the size Small (my 6 yr old is very tall but very skinny, around 48" tall and maybe 47 lbs) and it fit with room for a long sleeved turtle neck underneath. The tights are NOT included, so make sure you pick some up. The dress IS *SHORT*, so we wore black biker-style shorts underneath it, black tights, and had purple/black striped custom-made leg warmers over the tights. LOVE IT!!super cute

What I ordered and what I received were two completely different items. For the price I at least expected an item that I could put on my child, even if for only one night. However, the costume that arrived at my house, late, was of such poor quality that I would not have used it for a play piece. The skirt was flimsy and looked nothing like a poodle skirt. The shirt didn't even have a finished hem or sleeves. The "scarf" was nothing more than a small strip of fabric not long enough to tie around my daughter's neck without choking her! I immediately sent this item back to the company and then spent 3 WEEKS chasing down my refund...Needless to say, I will NEVER buy anything from this company again.Very Cute!
This was very cute and perfect for what we needed it for! Exactly what I expected and the skirt is even cuter than I thought it would be. I would recommend this to anyone who is needing a poodle skirt for a school program or play; even if it is just for a Halloween costume. This is adorable!Picture better than costume

I bought this KATARA costume for my 6 year old who adores this water bending character. From a distance the costume looks ok, but when you look at it closely, it is made of very flimsy, cheap quality fabric -- too cheap for the price. Also, the KATARA necklace is sold seperately, why not add it to the already expensive costume and make life easier for consumers?
I hand washed it since it got dirty in rain and the fabric started to fall apart. Overall my daughter enjoyed wearing the costume, but I don't think it will last for more than one or two of her dress up play sessions.

The first costume received had the shoe coverings almost completely detached from the rest of the pant legs. The faux bow on the belt was already coming unglued. The costume was returned and the replacement had the pant legs sewed on but the elastic on the bottom of the shoe covering was not sewed on one side and the side seam of the dress/tunic was beginnig to unravel. I would have returned this one too if my child did not have her heart set on this costume and I had more time to shop for something else. The costume is of POOR quality.Costume Made Wrong
This is a great costume idea for girls, but the one we received was made very poorly. The "feet" were sewn facing backwards, so my daughter had to wear the pants backwards (tag in front) to look right, and was uncomfortable.
After she wore it once, we noticed the stitching on the sides (the slits) was coming undone, making the side slits too long (showing too much skin).

How do I place this costume... hm.. Let me compare to other costumes that are out there..
So.. as far as the Merida's costuems are concerned this would be the best in the category.
This is authentic Disney Store item. It is not a toysurus product by Disney and the quality
shows it. It is pretty nice. I was hoping it will be spectacular to say least as the picture
seem to be pretty good but this costume is actually just okay. I mean it is solid okay
but it is not spectacular.
My daughter was a great judge of it, she brougth and linned up all her costume candidates
for this Halloween and she did not give a second thought to it. She went with the Limited
Edition Snow White that is just dreamy. It is about, oh geee.. like thousand times
nicer then this Merida Costume but then again we paid for it quite a bit more too
as Disney Limited Edition Costumes will do that to you wallet :) but it is worth every penny.

This costume, although very cute in the picture, was not good quality. The fabric is very thin and you need to wear tights/tshirt underneath, whether you wear it indoors or out. There were several areas on the hem where I needed to re-attach the fur trim which was not easy to do since the fabric was so thin and delicate.
