This vet coat made my 5-year-old daughter very happy. She wanted to be a vet for Halloween, but she wanted her costume to be pink, not blue. The jacket appears to be very durable and well-made, and it was much thicker than the ones that were sold in the Halloween stores. If you look at the girl in the picture, it looks like she's wearing pink scrubs under her jacket. Maybe she is, but they definitely don't come with the costume! It is only the jacket. It wasn't a problem, I just went out and picked her up a pair of pink pants to put under it. However, it seems misleading to say "costume" when a more fitting description would have been "jacket" or "lab coat."Halloween perfection!
This was the perfect touch to our vet costume for our daughter for Halloween. Everyone loved her original costume!

I bought this for my granddaughter, age 2.5. It fit perfectly (she's larger than average). She had trouble getting the wig/hat to stay on, but she kept trying. Lots of great photos. A real bargain for $20.Not exactly like the picture
The part I really liked about this costume was the cute yarn hair. I was a little disappointed when the costume arrived and there is hardly any hair attached to the hat. Once it arrived, I automatically saw a cheaply made costume. The ruching on the top was so loose that it kept falling off my daughters shoulders. I eventually had to sew the top to prevent it from falling off. If I ordered a smaller size, then the skirt would be too short. The wings were so contorted that it never looked like "wings". I constantly had to keep re-wiring it so it can look descent. At least she only had to wear it a few times for 3 different Halloween parties, but it will not be passed down to my younger daughter.cute but flimsy

I bought this for my daughter at last minute since we found out the one she planned to wear was too small. The shipping is fast. When we opened the package, it matches what we expected.Better than expected!
This costume arrived quickly and turned out to be nicer than anticipated. It was on sale for less than the local costume store. I've come to expect costumes to be cheap looking, to run small and skimp. This had a crown that actually looks nice with little loops for bobby pins, it has a petticoat and over all it looks very nice. All of this was a nice surprise. There was little info on this product and the one small picture. There was no mention of what the toy was made of, etc. Now I know why. It is a subtle (and effective!) way for the manufacturer to sell a cheap floppy FOAM costume for close to $40, incl. S&H. And I can't really say I was mislead, because the product info was simply omitted...
Add to this the fact that children shop "visually"...the toy looked fine in the tiny picture...And so, my son's puppy-dog eyes clinched the deal. The order was late, but when it finally arrived, my son gleefully opened the box. Instead of a quality costume one would expect due to the over-$30-pricetag, there was this ugly, flimsy foam nightmare. Oh, and the flaccid sword was torn. I am too tired of hassling with this order to request a refund. Keep my money. Just know that my son was sooo disappointed. He tried to act grown-up about it, but he sobbed quietly for a few minutes.
