I purchased this for my daughter who wears an 8/10. The top fit ok. Obviously there was an error in either their sizing or their packaging.The pants were huge and could have fit me. There really was too much to try to alter it.Now I have to pay for the return shipping as well as a "restocking fee". Doesn't sound like good customer service to me.Nice costume
My daughter was in the play Aladdin. This was the perfect costume. It covered her body. It was fancy enough for her. The price was not bad.Great costume
This was a really great costume. The cost was great; it shipped very quickly; and it was very well-made. The child large size was larger than I thought it was going to be, so I had to alter the top and the jacket to make them smaller. But it worked so well. This dress up gown was such a hit that it is all my 5 year old would wear for 3 days. It was a little more than I wanted to pay for a play dress, but certainly has been worth the joy. It washes well, and so far is holding up to a high level of activity. I would recommend for a child who likes to play dress up. We ordered white because she is facinated with the princesses in their wedding gowns. In an effort to be frugal, and not spend $25 on a real pair of ruby red shoes for my growing toddlers, I decided to give these a try. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed, but my girls were thrilled with their new little "shoes". The concept of the shoe cover is great since my kids can become Dorothy from Wizard of Oz whenever with just the snap of the velcro cover around their shoe, but the quality is another issue. A bow has already come off one of the slippers. Also, the cost of shipping was as much as the shoe cover itself. Unfortunately, after the purchase of two shoe covers and shipping, I probably should have just purchased the shoes themselves.Dorothy roby slipper covers
These shoe covers were a perfect alternative to purchasing the ruby slippers! They were priced reasonably and were durable enough for a few performances, and will be great to keep around for Halloween. I was happy with the accurate description and timely service. I needed them for a dance recital and was happy that amazon had all the costumes I needed at the price range I could afford to spend.Good idea, poor quality.
Shoe covers were a great idea I thought, however after my daughter put them on one of the bows fell off within 15 minutes. They also did not stay on her shoes very well, they kept slipping off. I purchased this dress for another granddaughter's upcoming June birthday. She will turn 4. She is very petite so it looks like it will fit her perfectly. Would not recommend this size for anyone older. It arrived very quickly and as in the other dress, was hardly wrinkled!! My little princess adores the story of Rapunzel and I purchased the purple gown for her 3rd birthday. I know she will simply love this one too! Looks very well made. Can't wait to see her in it!!

My daughter loves Rapunzel and we bought this dress for a dress-up birthday party she went to. She has long blonde hair and the dress was perfect on her. The quality is about what you'd expect from a dress of this caliber. It's been ripped, hemmed, and re-ripped many times, but that's what dress-up clothes are for. Purchased for my 10 yr old daughter for upcoming Halloween holiday..she is above average in size for a 10 yr so I'm never sure how costumes will fit her. I purchased the extra large and it fit perfect with even some room in the top of the shirt. The tights were a little shorter on her than the girl in the pic but my kid is tall for her age. You never know what you are going to get when you order from just a picture on the internet, but I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this costume was. The fabric is better quality then most Halloween costumes and it looks durable. The only downside is the petticoat...it is extremely cheap and very itchy! My daughter will definitely need to wear shorts or another skirt underneath to be comfortable. The bow is also cheap and worthless, so make sure you order different bows to go with it.Dorothy Costume

This outfit was perfect for my eight year old. My child is very tall for her age so we went with the 12-14 size and I am glad we did. The sizes run quite small as the larger size just reached her tops of her shoes. However the material was perfect for our Southern California weather. It was light and stretchy velour with a small ring of feathery fur around all the cuffs. I was disappointed with how small the ears were, but my daughter didn't care. She also preferred not to wear the choker that is attached to the suit; I had to cut it off. However, she was so comfortable that she wore it ALL DAY for two days; school Halloween and actual Halloween.A hit - but after a few uses its a little ragged at the edges
My daughter (8) wanted to be a black cat for Halloween and this costume seemed about right. She was very happy with it, it fit her perfectly (I bought a 12-14 and it was just right, she is usually a 12, sometimes a 14, 53" and 70lbs)
The costume itself is one piece, the back has a keyhole opening and the fur "collar" is attached and fastens around the back of the neck with velcro. The tail then sticks on with velcro as well - a nice feature because I felt if the tail was sewn on it surely would have ended up ripping. The fabric is a velour and is very soft. It's fairly thick for being a Halloween costume, but because the costume is best worn with nothing under it I could see it being too cold in some climates for trick or treating. My daughter didn't complain though and it was fairly chilly that night (we live in New England).

We got the medium size costume, (size 8-10) on the chart, for my 8 year-old daughter. It's a too small. Plus the workmanship isn't very good. It has a hole where the top is sown into the flesh-colored midriff. Very disappointing, especially considerig the cost for the costume plus the shipping. I'm trying to decide whether it's worth it to send back, or just take the loss. This is a really cute costume. Note that it is just the gloves, ear headband, and the leopard dress part. Your kid will need pants or tights under it. My daughter is very tall and thin for her age, so the skirt/tu-tu part was right on her hips. It is a little loose but like I said, she is very thin. She loved it, and is still wearing it well after Halloween. Thumbs up also, I have washed it several times in the washer, in a delicates mesh bag, and it still looks brand new. Hang to dry.Cute
