I bought this for my daughter to wear for Halloween - I got her the 4/6 size, but it was considerably too small for my age 5 daughter! She was able to wear it, though the tights were more appropriate for a toddler - so I had to cut those and turned those into knee high socks instead. And the body of the dress just barely closed in the back. She was thrilled, nonetheless, but I should have ordered her the larger 7/8 size. The costume is very cute, and if you get the red wig (sold separately) then this costume is the absolute! Just make sure to go UP in size when purchasing for your kiddo.
Halloween Costume - Strawberry Shortcake
This costume was supposed to be Size 4-6 and was way too snug for my average sized 5 year old. She doesn't even weigh 40 lbs. The seams started to pull apart, etc. The crotch of the stockings was at her knees. We made it through Halloween but I will never buy a costume online again.
