Monk's Robe for Children
Like the green monk robe previously reviewed this robe was used for a child re-enactor helping St. Patrick light the Paschal Fire on the Hill of Slane in 433 AD. The robe is well made and a convincing period piece from more ancient times that probably endured over several centuries. The boy who wore it, loved it, and with the help of a little hemming to fit his shorter frame, it fit just fine.
High Quality Robe
This robe is hand made with care. It is high quality and seems like it is made to last. This is a child size, fits-all, however, I am an adult, 5'3", 130lbs and it fits well with much extra room. It also fits my 11 yr old. The length on me is abt. 1" or so above the ankle. This robe pulls on over the head with a closure behind the neck. The hood is seperate and fits easily over my head. The fabric is a thick cotton, as opposed to costumes made of thin nylon. The bottom, as well as the edges around the neck, sleeves and hood, are nicely hemmed. Well worth the money.
